Special Rates
Anyone who wants to travel from the German mainland to Sylt by car can only use the train – there is no road connection to the island. Sylt residents (with proof of residence), owners of second homes on the island, and anyone who travels to Sylt frequently can therefore use our BlueTrain to Sylt at reduced rates.
You can buy your ticket in the waiting lanes at the loading terminals in Niebüll (Lanes 9-11) and Westerland (Lane 1) – from our friendly service team, without leaving your vehicle.
Islander Rate
Sylt Island residents with proof of residence (according to our conditions of carriage) can use the BlueTrain to Sylt at the reduced Islander Rate.

*) 10-Ride Cards are valid for 12 months from the first trip. 10-Ride Cards at the Islander Rate are available directly at the check-in lanes at the loading terminals. Island residents with a Frequent Traveler Card automatically benefit from this discount after ten trips within twelve months.
**) The return ticket is valid for twelve months from the day of the outward journey.
***) up to and including 1.54 m height above pavement, max. width 2.60 m, from 1.55 m up to and including 4.05 m height above pavement, max. width 2.86 m.
